What is the Halflings Program?
The Halflings program is designed as a stepping stone for children preparing to transition into Form One. While we don’t use traditional grade labels like kindergarten or first grade—since they often don't reflect a child’s true learning needs—this class is ideal for children who are age 6 by December of the current school year up to 7 years old.
This program is perfect for children who are still developing key skills such as writing full sentences independently, improving reading fluency, or building the stamina needed for more structured learning environments. Halflings offers a supportive and nurturing environment where your child can explore, grow, and strengthen their abilities at their own pace.
It's a space where we focus on fostering a love of learning, laying a strong foundation for their future studies. If your child isn’t quite ready for the demands of Form One, the Halflings program provides the perfect blend of structure and flexibility to help them thrive.
